DWI for Man Helping Stray Dog

A 38 year-old NY man found a stray dog Saturday morning and stopped at a police station to ask for directions to an animal shelter.  Police smelled alcohol on his breath and discovered he had a BAC of .17.  They arrested him for DWI, and delivered the dog to the animal shelter themselves.
