FAA Chief Resigns After Fairfax DUI Charge

Fairfax City Police issued a news release announcing that FAA head Randy Babbitt was charged with DUI in Fairfax, Virginia last weekend after police stopped him for driving on the wrong side of the road. He cooperated with police, but his field sobriety and breath tests results were not released. He is expected in Court in early February and has since resigned from his FAA post.
