Federal Prosecutor Charged with Refusal, then Later DUI

During the 2009 Thanksgiving weekend, the Warwick, Rhode Island police department arrested and charged 8 people with refusal to submit to a chemical breath test; 7 of those were also charged with DUI. The only one who wasn't charged with DUI was a federal prosecutor.
This, of course, raised questions and led to an internal investigation as well as one by the U.S. Department of Justice. After the police chief reviewed the records, the prosecutor was, a few days later, also charged with DUI. The reports showed that the circumstances of all 8 arrests were very similar, and that the arresting officer's observations also indicated the prosecutor was likely intoxicated.
