Hit and Run on I-95 Near Springfield

A 73 year-old Virginia man was struck and seriously injured early this morning along I-95 near Springfield, Virginia.  His car had collided with another, and he pulled over to the shoulder and stood next to his car.  That's when another car struck him and his car, and fled.

It is believed the driver who didn't stop was driving a a large Mercedes sedan or small SUV, and that vehicle would have substantial damage to its right side.
