Not Guilty of DUI says Rodney King
Posted on Nov 09, 2011
Rodney King, an African American brutally beaten by white police officers in 1991 (whose acquittal led to violent riots in Los Angeles), was arrested in California last July and charged with DUI (of marijuana) and driving with a BAC above the legal limit. He plead not guilty in Court Monday, November 7, and returns for a hearing on November 21. He has a prior DUI conviction, so if he is found guilty of the current charges he could face jail time.
