Olympic Silver Medalist Pleads Guilty to Drunk Driving

Phillips Idowu, a 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist, was arrested for drunk driving last month near his home in England. His BAC was 2 1/2 times the legal limit. He was reportedly out drinking with friends, and at some point after he returned home, there was an alleged domestic incident. Police were called to his home, but he had left. Police later found him and arrested him for DUI. His attorney claimed he was forced to drive drunk because of the domestic incident, and he was only headed to a hotel a mile away from his home.
