Reckless Driving for Two Involved in Crash that Injured VA State Trooper
Posted on Apr 11, 2011
Two Virginia State Troopers were hurt Friday night in separate but related incidents. One trooper was responding to an emergency call when the car in front of him suddenly stopped on I-395S. The trooper was able to stop, but his vehicle was rear-ended by another car. Those two drivers (in front of and behind the trooper) were charged with reckless driving.
Another trooper heard a report of the incident on his radio and responded, but his car ran off the road and hit a barrier. The three men injured in the first accident, and the one injured in the second one were all treated at Fairfax Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
