Distracted Driving in Fairfax County

Distracted driving in Fairfax County includes not only texting while driving, but also applying makeup, eating, and pushing buttons on your GPS.  This video from the Fairfax County Police features an officer who explains that distracted driving can be visual (taking your eyes off the road), manual (taking your hands off the steering wheel), and cognitive (taking your mind off of driving).  All distracted driving can be dangerous, and some studies show it contributes to the majority of traffic accidents.
