What penalty can I expect from the Judges in Virginia (Fairfax County) if I have a first-time conviction underthe Virginia Code 18.2-272 - Driving after forfeiture of license?

This will vary greatly, but punishment is much greater if the suspension was court-ordered for a DWI or other serious offense, and tends to be less if it was suspended for failure to pay fines on a minor charge.

This charge "272" tends to be taken very seriously, and it will also be likely to trigger a probation violation if there is underlying ASAP probation supervision.   Penalties include Jail and additional suspension of license.

If you are in this situation, please contact me directly.  This is a serious case which calls for an aggressive defense!
