Virginia State Police have a DUI simulator that they hope will help educate the public and decrease drunk driving. The simulator is a pair of goggles which, when worn, imitates the effects of impairment. The goggles can be set to various BAC levels, and the police have the person wearing the goggles perform sobriety tests (such as walking heel to toe), and drive a cart around a course trying to avoid cones.
