How to Request Your Washington D.C. Driving Record

If you don't need a certified copy, you may request a copy of your DC driving record online.  

A certified copy of your DC driving record may be obtained the same day by going to a DMV Service Center with the following information:

• Full name
• DOB
• SSN
• Drivers license number
• Proof of ID
• Check or money order payable to DC Treasurer

To request a certified copy of your DC driving record by mail, send a letter containing the above information to:
